In your opinion, is it enough to say that you believe something, or is it important to have proof to back up what you say? Give an example of when your opinion is enough and when it is not.

I think it's important to have evidence to back it up, for example if someone says the earth is square then there has to be scientific evidence to substantiate this. If someone expresses a preference for color, their opinion alone is usually sufficient, as these are subjective matters that do not require empirical evidence.

I think it depends on what kind of things, if it is about a person's evaluation of something, it is subjective, not completely need to be based on. But if a thing is to show a fact, it needs a basis.

It's not always enough to just believe something; evidence is crucial to support your claims. For example, your opinion on a favorite book can stand alone, but in a debate on climate change, evidence is essential to be convincing.
