Lesson 3.4

Lesson 3.4

Number of replies: 5

Think about what you have learned in this unit about what it takes to write news reports. Do you think that fake or misleading news reports can happen without the writer realizing that they are reporting untrue information? Or is it more likely that all false news is reported with the intention to spread lies?

Yes, I think fake news can happen even if writer not know it is false. Sometime they not check all fact or believe wrong information. But also some peoples write fake news on purpose to make others believe lie. So it can happen both ways, not just one.

False news can happen by accident or on purpose. Reporters might make mistakes if they don't have all the facts, trust the wrong sources, or don't check things carefully. But some people lie on purpose to get money, support a political side, or get attention. So false news isn't always done on purpose, and it isn't always a simple mistake either.

Definitely, many fake news reports have different purposes, like making money or stirring up people's emotions.

When we write the news reports, we should make sure all the information is true and use quotations to make the article be more believable. I think sometimes writers don’t react they are spreading false information, but most fake news is made for some special purpose.

Is it more likely ,some fake news is definitely created on purpose , to mislead others and create heat and traffic. So there needs to be more verification of the veracity of the information
