      • Assignment: Short Story Writing Rough Draft - Part 1
Your short story assignment will be divided into sections. The first section of the assignment is creating a Rough Draft of your story.

A rough draft is a version of your story that is complete but not revised or edited. It is a good idea to begin the story writing process with a rough draft so you may organize your ideas. Your story must be typed and double-spaced. It should be about 5-7 paragraphs long and 500 to 1000 words, no more & no less!

        PART ONE: Rough Draft
You MUST refer to the template below as you begin to write your rough draft. You MUST also write in paragraphs.
