WELCOME
Welcome to ENG4U for term 2 of the 2024-2025 school year!! I m pleased to have you in this course. Together we will be examining various literary works in the form of poetry, short stories, novels, and media works. In the process, you will be developing your oral discussion and presentation, writing and literary analysis skills. You will also be expanding your knowledge, understanding and use of vocabulary terms, figurative language and grammatical structure which will help you in your essay writing and organization process. You are expected to participate in all class activities, especially in the oral discussion. Your opinion, ideas, experiences, culture and overall feedback are very important. During this class, you will be interacting and working with your classmates on a daily basis, so get ready to share about yourself, your interests, experiences, family and culture. I look forward to getting to know all of you and helping you to develop your English speaking, listening, and reading writing skills through the exploration of great literature.
