Welcome to HSB4U
Welcome to HSB4U Challenge and Change in Society for term 3 of the 2023/2024 school year. This is a highly appropriate time period to be studying our world's global challenges and changes as we continue to see many changes on the global stage. This course will outline key challenges faced by all world societies, with a special emphasis on Canadian society and using the theoretical background knowledge of Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology. I look forward to your research, analysis, and personal/cultural connections to world-wide challenges and their solutions. This course is focused on student participation and insight, so the more that you can participate in all aspects of the course (orally, assignments, sharing, teamwork etc.), the richer your learning experience will be. Be ready to share your learning and thinking in our positive classroom environment.
