- Understand the impact that new technology has on social change, social structures and communities
- Understand the impact that poor access to technology and lack of technology has on social change, social structures and community members
- Understand the various technological changes in certain industries and research one technological change in any industry and its impact on social structure, and community members
Success Criteria: By the end of this lesson you will be able to
- demonstrate knowledge and thinking about the impact of technological change on social structures, interactions and communities of a particular society
- demonstrate knowledge and thinking about the impact of limited or no technology in certain communities and its effect on social structures, interactions and communities
- use the research and inquiry method to examine one technological change in any society and analyze its impact on social structures, social interactions and community members.
