- Re-Read the short story Lather and Nothing Else by Hernando Tellez (in UNIT #2 RESOURCE FOLDER) - Then in point form using Freytag’s Structure list the stages of the plot from the opening Exposition to the final Denouement/Conclusion. Save this as PDF and post it on Moodle. 
- Read The Story of An Hour by Kate Chopin. (It is attached below and is 1015 words long) - Come to class on next Monday prepared to make a 2 minute Oral Presentation about the plot development (Freytag's Pyramid structure) and define five (5) traits adjectives that describe the protagonist's character. A list of traits can be downloaded along with the story - Write down the Plot development as a list - and also list the 5 adjectives you feel best describe the protagonist. YOU WILL SHARE THAT DOCUMENT WITH THE CLASS as you make your oral presentation using this as your presentation notes. DO NOT WRITE A SPEECH! - THIS WILL BE GRADED 'OF LEARNING' FOR 5 MARKS
