- Teacher reads until page 1115 and students continue reading/acting the scene between Helmer and Nora in BREAKOUT ROOMS up to the bottom of page 1116 "Goodbye Torvald. Goodbye my darlings" - What is Nora planning to do after she says these words? What do you think she means by saying "Goodbye!" ?
- Teacher reads two pages and students complete the reading to page 1118 where Torvald declares "I am saved! Nora, I am saved!" Nora responds: What about me?" - Her response represents a dramatic SHIFT and TURNING POINT in Nora's character. - Up until this moment she has been a rather FLAT and STATIC character. Discuss this in your group. - FOR HOMEWORK: - In a 200-250 word well-written paragraph, describe how Nora has gradually been shifting from a rather flat and static protagonist into a round and dynamic one.
