The story "The Fan Club " describes a conflict between young girl and a group of students who bully her and another student because they look and act differently. Even though the main character Laura knows what it is like to be treated poorly, she herself joins in with the bullying of a classmate named Rachel.

- Is it possible to avoid conflict with your classmates? Explain your answer. 2 marks
- Identify and explain one internal and one external conflict described in the story. 4 marks
- If you were in the story, how would you solve these conflicts? 5 marks
- Describe a time that you were involved in bullying at school. You may have been a witness, victim, or the actual bully. What did you learn from this situation? 5 marks
