The attached document review the steps to planning a persuasive essay ( 5 paragraphs)  that discusses your opinion on zoos. Once you have read the document, conduct your own research on the topic, and follow the steps below to write a PLAN for the essay. 

Homework 

 Conduct some research on Zoos, including 

• their purpose,
  
•  facilities, the animals usually kept in zoos and their natural habitat,
  
• the cost of managing a zoo
  
•  the advantages and disadvantages of having a zoo.
  

Write a plan for your essay that includes

• Your position on the topic: Agree or Disagree
  
• Specific facts, statistics and quotations that support these arguments 
  
• At least 4 pictures that can be included to show your ideas 
  
• A list of at least 5 reasons that you will include in your essay
  
• Key words that you will need to use to help your arguments 
  

Remember, you are not wiring the essay, but planning your ideas.
