ACTIVITY 9.1: MORE HEADLINES
Opened: Saturday, 4 March 2023, 1:45 AM
Due: Saturday, 4 March 2023, 5:00 AM
Remember that HEADLINES are HOOKS and TITLES:
1. Write the verbs in the present tense. This makes the article seem like today's news even if something happens earlier.
2. Use Key Words only. Don't write complete sentences. Include one or two W5 facts like WHERE? WHO? WHAT? For example: Man Robs Bank (that is who + what + where)
3. Place the subject before the object. [Active Voice versus Passive Voice]
Good example: Dog Bites Man Bad example: Man Was Bitten by Dog
Download the attached document and write effective HEADLINES based on the topics
