CREATE A DRAFT ONLY of a Five (5) paragraph Literary Analysis Essay on one of the following topics: 

(1) What events and details in Chekhov’s short story suggest the strangeness of the outside world to the young child named Grisha

OR

(2) Explain how Grisha’s day of adventure into the city with his caretaker/nurse can be understood and applied as an example of The Hero’s Journey

1. Write out a full thesis statement based on the topic you have chosen.
2. Select three (3) quotations as evidence that will support each of your three points/ideas/arguments.
