Creating a PSA
For this task, you may work by yourself or with a partner.
Brainstorm
social topics that are important to you and think about how you can bring attention to this issues to make a positive change.
Choose
one issue from your brainstorm that you would like to be the focus of
your P.S.A. You will be creating an original P.S.A. about this issue.
Your P.S.A.may be in the form of a radio ad, print or digital poster, or video. If you can think of another format for your P.S.A. discuss your ideas with your teacher before you begin.
Your P.S.A.should be for a specific intended audience and have a specific message that it presents about your issue.
Ask yourself, what do you want people to know and do after they view your P.S.A.
Once you have completed your PSA, you will share your work with the class, and explain how and why you chose the format and design for your media product.
