Unit Assessment Description:
OPTION #1: PHOTOGRAPHY
You will create a Photographic Exhibition consisting of 12 photographs (6 colour and 6 in black and white on one of the following themes:
- Architectural photography
- Urban life photography.
- Nature photography.
- Forest photography
- Sport photography
- Portraiture
- Food photography.
- Abstract or Surreal photography
Your exhibit must demonstrate all of the principles of photography that you have studied: the Rule of Thirds, Contrast in Object Size, Contrast in Light and Darkness, Angles, Lead-In (Leading) lines etc.
The photographs must be recent ones and must be taken by you. Paste each photo onto a single document with a few sentences describing how it communicates your Exhibit Theme.
On a separate sheet, write your name, the title of your Exhibit and the Theme a 100-150 word description explaining your theme and why you chose it
