Make a submission
Read Chapter 22 and answer the following questions:
- How does hockey allow Saul to reconnect (in a limited way) with his culture?
- You are now about halfway through the novel, and Saul already seems headed for a happy ending. His talents as a young hockey player seem to bring him great happiness. But of course, Richard Wagamese has yet to explain how Saul becomes the lonely, unhappy drunk readers met at the book’s start. In a paragraph of between 50-75 words write a personal opinion of what you think might happen to put Saul in the New Dawn Rehabilitation Centre.
