Make a submission
Read all of Act 3 Scene 2 carefully. It is recommended that you read the translation first and then line-by-line read Shakespeare’s text (read aloud for extra practice). Then answer the following inquiry questions with one or two sentences of explanation.
Act 3 Scene 2 is very rich in Shakespeare’s use of figurative language including verbal irony, restated motifs, symbolism, imagery, foreshadowing etc,.
Using MLA formatting, find one example of the following literary devices in the scene and briefly explain why it illustrates that device:
- irony
- a motif
- an example of symbolism
- an example of assonance.
