Activity 2 - Writing the Lead


Instructions Read the headlines and create an appropriate lead sentence for each.  Each question indicates the type of information to include int he lead statement. 

Remember that the lead sentence captures the most important details of the story and should answer many of the WH questions while including more details than the headline.
