Read the short essay LOOSE ENDS by Rita Dove about her daughter's obsession with television.

The teacher has underlined a number of common vocabulary words that may be new to you. 

(PART 1) Place those words in your PORTFOLIO along with a definition. 

(PART 2) Upload the following assignment today on Moodle: 

a. Rewrite the sentence containing vocabulary words #5A, #5B and #6, but using a synonym to replace each of those vocabulary words.

b. Rewrite the sentence containing the vocabulary words #9, #10 #11, but using a synonym to replace each of those vocabulary words. 

c. Also, rewrite the sentence containing vocabulary words #15 and #16, but using a synonym to replace each of those vocabulary words.
