ESLCO Write a point-form list of the things Grandma does to help Mieko in Chapters 1 and 2.
ESLDO Write a paragraph describing the relationship between Mieko and her grandmother. How do they feel about each other? What do they do or say to each other? How do you think this relationship will help Mieko?
