The poet I was most interested in in today's lession was Bukowski because he wrote a lot of stories about the people at the bottom of the social ladder in the United States during the twentieth century, and I was interested in that time period. As for the second question, I think writing poetry is a hard thing to do, in my opinion a good poem has to be beautiful to read no matter what and also have good content, just from the point of view of how to make a poem read beautifully is enough for me to think about it for a long time.

I think the poet and poem I am most interested in for this lesson is "Where I Come From" by Elizabeth Brewster, because I think it tells us something. For example, that no matter where you go, you have a different flavor, and that you should never forget where you grew up. I also like this poet because her poems are very meaningful.

I think everyone canwrite and understand poetry. There is no standred answer for the understanding of poetry. Everyone have their own thinking, and what they think about are based on their unique background. So I think everyone can write their own story and thoughts towards the world.
