The benefits of jury trials include monitoring fairness and equity, community engagement, diverse perspectives, public confidence, educational experience, and protection against tyranny. The benefits of judge-only trials include expertise and legal knowledge, efficiency, focus on legal issues, consistency, reduced bias, complex cases, and privacy and sensitivity.I think both are good, because a jury trial can monitor justice and democracy, and it can also reduce the time when injustice occurs. The advantage of judge alone trial is that the judge has profound legal knowledge and experience, can understand and apply legal principles more accurately, and avoid wrong understanding of law. You can also maintain privacy.
