I think the greatest global social challenge today is poverty. Poverty affects almost every part of life, including access to food, clean water, education, and healthcare. When people struggle to meet basic needs, it can lead to poor health, lower school success, and fewer job opportunities. From what I’ve learned, poverty also increases inequality between rich and poor countries. I see this in everyday life when some communities have many resources while others have very few. Poverty is connected to other problems like crime and environmental damage. Helping reduce poverty through education, fair jobs, and support programs can improve lives and strengthen communities worldwide.
