1. Discrimination

Global discrimination includes racism, sexism, and discrimination against immigrants or people with disabilities. It limits job, education, and healthcare opportunities. This causes inequality, stress, and social division, making it harder for individuals and communities to succeed.

2. Poverty

Poverty means people cannot afford basic needs like food, housing, and education. It can lead to poor health, unemployment, and crime. Poverty also slows economic growth because many people cannot fully contribute to society.

3. Policies and organizations

Local food banks and shelters help families in need. The Government of Canada provides healthcare and financial support. International groups like the United Nations and World Health Organization fight poverty, protect human rights, and improve global health.

4. Climate change

Climate change causes floods, wildfires, and rising temperatures. It harms homes, food supply, and health. People can save energy and recycle, while governments use renewable energy and stronger environmental laws to protect the planet.
