In my opinion, the greatest global social challenge today is poverty. Poverty affects education, healthcare, and job opportunities. When families do not have enough money, children may not go to school or receive proper medical care. This creates a cycle where people stay poor for many generations. I have seen food banks and homeless people in my own community, which shows that poverty exists even in developed countries like Canada. Poverty also increases crime and stress in society. If we reduce poverty through better education, fair wages, and government support, communities can become safer, healthier, and more equal.
