Lesson 3.4 Production

Today, you will rehearse your presentation four times in class. Follow the instructions below, and then post your results here.

Rehearsal 1: 

Practice your speech normally with your script. 

Rehearsal 2:

Practice your speech again, but this time delete some words from your script and/or look at your script less.

Rehearsal 3:

Rehearse by yourself and record a video of yourself. Then watch your video. Write down what you did well and what you can improve.

Rehearsal 4:

Later in the class, the teacher will put you into groups. Practice in front of your group, then ask them these questions:

  1. Was there anything you did not understand in my presentation?
  2. Did I use any jargon that you don’t understand?
  3. Did I make good eye contact with the camera?
  4. What did you like and not like about my presentation skills?
  5. What can I do to make my presentation skills better?
