      • analyse coverage of current local, national, or global issues in a variety of media texts to identify subjective approaches and types of bias
      • create a variety of media texts for specific purposes and audiences, and explain how the purpose and audience influenced their design decisions and language choice

      • Learn how to identify the target  audience of a media product 
      • Explain how media products are created differently depending on the target audience 
      • Explain the purpose of a PSA
      • Analyze PSAs for their effectiveness 
      • Create a PSA


      Success Criteria:
      • Define the term PSA
      • Explain the purpose of a variety of PSAs 
      • Identify the audience of a variety of Public Service Announcements 
      • Analyze and explain whether not Sample PSAs are successful in presenting their ideas and changing the behaviour of their target audience. 
      • Create my own PSA to bring light to an important social issue.
