You are to create a playbill for Macbeth

A playbill is the program you receive when you attend a play. It is full of information about the play, the characters, the author, and the actors/actresses.

Your playbill will be created using PowerPoint or Canva.

Your playbill should include slides of the following:

1. A title page

2. A table of contents

3. A brief biography of the author

4. A short summary of the play - you want to hook people to want to watch the play

5. A short analysis of each of the main characters (Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, the witches, Banquo, Macduff)

6. A summary of the message (meaning) of the play

7. Two advertisements (see below)

Remember to include any artwork, graphics, borders, or pictures which would add to to the aesthetics of the playbill. You can also use different colours and legible fonts. Be creative.

Two Advertisements:

First, consider your audience. You have a group of people who usually have extra money to spend on luxuries. Many people who regularly attend the theatre are in fact rich. One often sees ads for jewelry, real estate, and other high-priced items.

The advertisements in a playbill have one purpose - to convince the people who see the ads to buy the products or services offered. Choose two products, and keeping your audience in mind, create two advertisements.

Rubric attached.
