ChatGPT: It’s a conversational AI, designed to generate human-like text and engage in back-and-forth conversations. It’s really good at answering questions, writing essays, brainstorming ideas, and generally having chats on a wide range of topics. It uses natural language processing (NLP) to understand and respond to text input in a way that sounds natural.

DeepSeek: If you’re referring to DeepSeek, it might be a specific tool or platform used for search or data retrieval, often focusing on deep web searches or specialized databases. It could be designed for more targeted searches rather than casual conversations. Tools like DeepSeek may pull relevant data from vast amounts of sources, sometimes using more structured or focused approaches than ChatGPT’s open-ended responses.

I think ChatGP is better because it has done a lot of AI training and has more comprehensive knowledge.

Deepseek, as an AI software independently developed in China, is not inferior to ChatGPT and can give more detailed answers to some Chinese questions than ChatGPT. However, Deepseek has to abide by the political stance and ideas of the Chinese government after all, so compared to ChatGPT, it is unable to give answers or provide pros and cons on some political issues. I asked, "What is the current trend of China's economy? This is the answer by Deepseek. "Overall, while maintaining stable growth, the Chinese economy is moving towards higher quality, greater efficiency, more fairness, and more sustainable development. This trend in China's economic development not only brings more well-being to its domestic population but also provides momentum and support for global economic recovery and growth.“ Deepseek's answer was an optimistic view consistent with the government's, which was not wrong, but it did not mention China's current economic difficulties. ChatGPT agreed with DeepSeek's positive view and added a negative view.

Need data analysis and mining: If you need to deeply analyze complex data sets or perform tasks in specific fields, DeepSeek may be a better choice.
Need language interaction and generation: If you need powerful natural language generation capabilities or a more natural interaction experience with humans, ChatGPT will be more suitable.
